Obstetrics Epidemiology Lab

The Obstetrics Epidemiology Lab at WomanLogics Institute is a research lab dedicated to studying maternal and child health in specific regions of Europe and Asia. Our research teams focus on analyzing statistical data related to current obstetric and gynecological practices in these regions and developing targeted interventions to improve outcomes. We have established strategic collaborations with internationally known academic research teams and local authorities, universities, and embassies.

As part of our research, we are investigating diagnostic and therapeutic protocols for obstetrics and gynecology that are established in the health systems of European regions, and running several prospective randomized trials to demonstrate differences in practices and point out variations in therapeutic strategies between neighboring countries.

A significant part of our work is also directed towards generating raw data and analyzing birth rates and cesarean sections in European countries, relating these data to current obstetric practices and local population characteristics. We have found significant differences between several regions of Europe and will be publishing these data soon.

In addition, we are conducting studies on the logistics and organization of obstetric units in EU countries, with the goal of improving outcomes for mothers and babies. Our research is aimed at providing measurable evidence to international organizations and local authorities to enable them to implement targeted actions to improve maternal and child health. Overall, our goal is to advance the field of obstetrics and gynecology through research and analysis.
